Public Call for CAS-EN Research Grants for Applied Research Projects
USAID funded Center for Advance Studies in Energy at NUST (CAS-EN) is a new initiative with the aim to address some of the outstanding challenges faced by the energy sector in Pakistan and to facilitate applied research and education partnership between USA and Pakistan. Strategic goals behind CAS-EN are to evolve into a Centre of Excellence in Applied Research catering to the Energy Sector and economy of Pakistan with the aim to establish efficient governance structures –sustainability, value-added curriculum and capacity building; promote applied research to serve public/private sector and NUST-US students/faculty exchange programs.

Under the Cooperative agreement with USAID, CAS-EN has to develop a research agenda that will form the basis for the research grants and applied projects over the life of the project and beyond.
