Acumen-2018 Pakistan Fellows
A NUST graduate Ayesha Ahmed has been selected as an Acumen Regional Fellow 2018. Acumen is a global venture fund that is working to develop innovative solutions to tackle poverty and injustice.  Every year Acumen selects just 20 individuals out of thousands of applications for a one-year leadership development program in Pakistan, India and South Africa. The fellows are “social change-makers” who challenge the status quo and understand what it takes to create change in our complexed, interconnected world”

Ayesha is Chief Medical Officer of MILVIK Pakistan, a subsidiary of MILVIK AB, a global leader in micro-insurance and mobile health. Ayesha manages the organization’s health services which provide health care to more than 300,000 patients. She is also an Advisory Board member responsible for business development at Aas-e-Kauser Foundation, a non-profit that empowers widows with vocational training so they can become financially and socially independent. Ayesha is a NUST graduate and a World Bank Women X Fellow.
