NUSTian Represents Pakistan in the 17th Asian Games 2014, held at Incheon, Korea 


Sara Mansoor, a student of Mass Communication at School of Social Sciences and Humanities (S3H), is a top-seeded tennis player of Pakistan. She was selected to represent the Pakistan Tennis team in the 17th Asian Games, held at Incheon, Korea, from September 18 to October 1, 2014. She played in the women’s single and doubles, paired up with Ushana Suhail.  


NUST Staffer Represents Pakistan in the Asian 6 Red and Team Event 2014 (Snooker), held at Karachi


Shahram Changezi, a staffer at NUST, was selected to represent Pakistan in the Asian 6 Red and Team Event 2014 (Snooker) held at  Karachi. He participated in the team event and was grouped up with Asjad Iqbal and Sohail Shahzad.


NUSTian Reaches the Faldo Series Pakistan Championship Semi-finals, held at Defence Raya Golf & Country Club, Lahore


Mubariz Ahmed, a student of NUST Business School (NBS), participated in the Faldo Series Pakistan Golf Championship held at Defence Raya Golf & Country Club, from September 19-21, 2014.

Mubariz was a favorite to win the championship, as he had won the previous three titles of the event, however, this time, he ended up in the 3rd place. He is now preparing for the upcoming Asian Pacific Amateur Championship which will take place at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Australia, from October 20 – 26, 2014.
